Director of Quality Control

About the role

The Director of Quality Control will lead all quality functions across the organization, ensuring products and processes meet technical specifications, industry standards and customer expectations. This senior position reports to senior management and works closely with Production, Engineering, Procurement and Project Management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality strategies, policies, objectives and procedures aligned with business goals.
• Oversee supplier quality, incoming material inspections and resolution of supplier‑related issues.
• Manage in‑process inspections, testing, verification activities and final product inspections.
• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance.
• Plan and coordinate internal and external audits, close findings and drive corrective actions.
• Lead root‑cause analysis, corrective and preventive action processes and monitor key quality KPIs.
• Handle customer complaints, coordinate customer audits and drive initiatives to improve satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in quality management within manufacturing environments.
• Proven leadership experience managing quality functions and teams.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
