About the role
Cencora is seeking a driver to execute pickup and delivery activities for assigned shipments, ensuring timely and compliant transport of materials, products, and medical samples.
Key responsibilities
- Execute pickup and delivery of shipments according to timing, handling, and documentation requirements.
- Verify shipment details, obtain required signatures or proof of delivery, and maintain accurate transport records.
- Transport materials following route plans, temperature controls, and transportation regulations.
- Communicate delivery status, delays, and exceptions to support issue resolution.
- Support loading, unloading, packaging, and labeling to protect shipment integrity.
- Monitor vehicle condition and packaging supplies, escalating maintenance or stock shortages.
Required profile
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Less than 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, courier operations, or delivery services.
- Certification in dangerous goods awareness, licensure for the applicable vehicle class, and cold‑chain handling.
