Duty Manager – Hotel Guest Services

About the role

The Duty Manager ensures a seamless guest experience by overseeing the hotel lobby and public areas, greeting guests, and handling enquiries, especially for VIP and long‑stay guests.

Key responsibilities

• Occupy the hotel lobby and public areas, especially during busy periods, greeting guests and providing assistance.
• Manage, record and promptly resolve guest complaints, including VIP and long‑stay guests.
• Meet and greet VIP guests and major corporate clients upon arrival.
• Coordinate services and special facilities for long‑stay guests and ensure correct credit procedures are applied.
• Handle emergencies, health and safety procedures and other management issues as they arise.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Duty Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the hotel industry.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an asset.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Accountable, resilient and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• High level of IT proficiency.
• Experience with Front Office Management Systems.
• Cash handling experience.
