Electrical Technician – Istanbul Bomonti Hotel

About the role

The Electrical Technician will ensure all electrical systems and equipment at the Istanbul Bomonti Hotel operate safely and efficiently, supporting an excellent guest experience. You will work closely with the engineering team and other hotel departments to deliver high‑quality maintenance and rapid fault resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair all hotel electrical systems, including panels, wiring and motor-driven equipment.
• Monitor and use the Building Management System (BMS) for system optimisation.
• Record daily electrical meter readings and manage work orders through the maintenance management system.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and routine technical inspections.
• Diagnose, install, remove and repair electric motors, lighting fixtures and electronic devices such as televisions.
• Support technical setup for meetings, conferences and special events.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors when required.
• Report material needs promptly and comply with health & safety regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related field (MYK Vocational Qualification preferred).
• Previous technical service experience in hospitality or similar facilities is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and proactive teamwork.
