Engineering & Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering & Maintenance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of building, grounds and physical‑plant operations in Istanbul. The role ensures safety, security and asset protection while driving energy‑saving initiatives and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all engineering and maintenance activities, including HVAC‑R, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and water‑treatment systems.
• Develop and manage the annual budget, capital‑expenditure projects and preventive‑maintenance plans.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, fire‑prevention regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate service contracts, issue work orders and monitor quality and timeliness of repairs.
• Supervise the upkeep of grounds, guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, vehicles and recreational facilities.
• Plan and execute renovation or new‑construction projects, obtain bids and oversee contractors.
• Maintain inventory of parts, equipment and supplies, and procure new assets as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections to guarantee property standards and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED with 3 years of engineering‑maintenance experience, or an associate degree in Building & Construction, Engineering, Mechanics with 1 year experience.
• Technical training in HVAC‑R, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts and energy‑conservation projects.
