Engineering Supervisor

About the role

Accor is looking for an Engineering Supervisor in Izmir to supervise daily engineering operations and coordinate maintenance activities within the hotel. The role covers mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and building automation systems, and involves leading the engineering team while ensuring safety, compliance and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily engineering operations and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and building automation systems.
• Monitor work orders, maintenance schedules and the Maximo system.
• Ensure fire safety systems and hotel facilities operate efficiently and safely.
• Coordinate external contractors and ensure compliance with hotel standards.
• Supervise, train and support the engineering team.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hotel procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth hotel operations.

Required profile

• Degree or vocational qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or a related engineering field.
• Previous experience in engineering or maintenance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good command of English is an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and maintenance management systems.
