Environmental Engineer – Ready-Mix Concrete Operations

About the role

We are looking for an Environmental Engineer to lead the environmental performance, regulatory compliance and sustainability initiatives of our Ready‑Mix Concrete plants. The role involves ensuring compliance with legislation, managing permits, and driving resource‑efficiency projects across sites in Turkey.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor compliance of Ready‑Mix Concrete plants with environmental legislation, permits, licences and legal requirements.
• Manage environmental permits, declarations, official notifications and reporting processes.
• Track, analyse and report dust, emissions, water, waste and other environmental KPIs.
• Oversee waste concrete, wash water and sludge management in line with regulations.
• Identify environmental risks, conduct site inspections and follow up on improvement actions.
• Support initiatives on water management, resource efficiency, recycling and decarbonisation.
• Prepare for and assist with environmental audits and regulatory inspections.
• Deliver environmental awareness and training to plant personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of environmental management experience, preferably in Ready‑Mix Concrete, cement, mining, energy or manufacturing.
• Valid Environmental Officer Certificate.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, permits, waste and water management.
• Experience with dust and emission control, environmental monitoring and reporting.
• B2 level English, Class B driving licence and willingness to travel to Adana or Mersin.
