Event Operations Manager

About the role

The Event Operations Manager will take full operational responsibility for all ticketed events at Tersane İstanbul, ensuring seamless planning, execution and post‑event follow‑up in a historic waterfront setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end operational processes for ticketed events, including venue readiness, guest flow, ticketing, crowd management, staffing, security and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments (F&B, Culinary, Security, Engineering, Housekeeping, Sales, Marketing, Finance) and external suppliers, agencies and contractors.
• Prepare detailed operation plans, timelines, floor plans, staffing requirements and operational checklists; conduct pre‑event site inspections and briefings.
• Act as the primary operational point of contact during events, monitor on‑site execution, ensure safety, service standards and compliance with health, security and legal regulations.
• Support budget preparation, monitor operational expenses, review supplier quotations and maintain supplier relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Tourism, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in event operations or management, preferably in luxury hotels, lifestyle destinations or large‑scale ticketed events.
• Strong project management, organizational and problem‑solving abilities; able to handle multiple events simultaneously.
• Fluent in English and Turkish; flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
