FAST Channels Operations Executive

About the role

Merzigo is a video monetization and digital media company that partners with entertainment brands to scale and optimize their content across global digital platforms. It is looking for a FAST Channels Operations Executive to manage the day-to-day operations of assigned channels, covering onboarding, scheduling, content delivery, programming optimization and cross-functional coordination, so that performance is seamless and audience engagement and commercial results are maximized.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the operational onboarding and launch of new FAST channels, coordinating with technology providers, playout partners and FAST platforms
• Manage channel setup requirements, including feed specifications, metadata, EPG delivery, asset workflows and platform-specific needs
• Prepare and manage video assets, captions, audio tracks, artwork, metadata and content delivery workflows
• Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly programming schedules in scheduling and playout systems
• Manage programming strategies such as content rotations, repeat patterns, themed events, marathons and special initiatives
• Oversee ad breaks, promos, interstitials and channel branding elements to balance viewer experience and monetization
• Monitor channel performance, spot operational or technical issues and coordinate resolutions with internal teams and third-party partners
• Analyze audience insights and performance data to recommend programming and scheduling improvements
• Act as the primary operational contact for assigned channels and work with Marketing, Operations and external partners

Required profile

• 4+ years of relevant experience in FAST channel operations, digital video operations, streaming platforms or broadcast workflows
• Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Broadcasting, Film & Television or a related field preferred
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Experience managing FAST channels, digital video operations or broadcast workflows
• Ability to manage multiple channels, projects and stakeholders at once

Required skills

• Strong understanding of streaming platforms, FAST ecosystems, VOD workflows, metadata management, content delivery systems and advertising best practices
• Knowledge of video encoding, streaming protocols, cloud-based delivery environments and platform technical specifications
• Hands-on experience with scheduling and playout systems such as Amagi, Wurl, Frequency or similar
• Ability to manage external partners and communicate technical requirements and operational blockers
