Field Sales Manager

About the role

The Field Sales Manager will drive revenue, volume and gross profit by promoting and selling freight services to customers. This position requires deep knowledge of freight logistics, strong communication and negotiation abilities, and the capacity to build lasting customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new leads through market research, cold calling, networking and other prospecting methods.
• Maintain and develop long‑term relationships with potential customers to understand their needs.
• Prepare and present rate quotations using the company’s system.
• Negotiate terms, rates and service levels for tenders and RFQs.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive pricing and market conditions to adjust sales strategies.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets set by the company.
• Record all customer interactions, sales activities and contracts in the CRM and generate regular reports for management.
• Collaborate closely with pricing and operations teams to meet customer expectations.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the freight forwarding industry (air, ocean and road).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English and Turkish (written and spoken).
• Self‑motivated, problem‑solver and team‑oriented.
• Residence in İzmir with a B‑class driving licence and no travel restrictions.
• No military obligation for male candidates.

Required skills

• Proficiency with sales and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Knowledge of international freight regulations (a plus).
