Field Sales Representative - Electronic Components

About the role

Arrow Global Components (AGC), part of Arrow Electronics, distributes and adds value to electronic components worldwide. It is hiring a Field Sales Representative for its IP&E business in Istanbul (Anatolian side preferred) to support regional expansion. The role is sales and engineering focused, target driven, and covers securing new business and keeping current customers well served.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned accounts and build relationships, negotiating at all levels with customers
• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities, visiting customers frequently
• Promote Arrow's top suppliers while selling across the full product range, and drive supplier initiatives
• Coordinate supplier support and Arrow FAE support to maximise new design opportunities, and track each customer's development projects and their stage
• Maximise market share, profitability and design-in profile, prioritising the largest growth opportunities
• Hold regular meetings with the Sales Manager, stay aware of competitor activity and co-operate with stakeholders

Required profile

• University degree in a technical field, preferably electronic engineering, or equivalent
• 4 to 5 years of experience in technical sales, field sales or account management with a technical background
• Fluent English and Turkish (spoken and written)
• Driving licence

Required skills

• Very good communication, customer relationship management, negotiation and presentation skills
• Some knowledge of IP&E components
• Autonomous, proactive way of working
