Field Service Engineer (Turkey)

About the role

JBT Marel is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to deliver hands‑on technical expertise across Turkey and the wider EMEA region. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise advanced food processing equipment, ensuring maximum performance and reliability for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair activities at customer sites across Turkey and EMEA.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on advanced processing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to maximise equipment uptime.
• Provide operational, maintenance, and technical guidance to customers.
• Deliver training to operators and maintenance teams.
• Prepare accurate service reports, technical documentation, and follow‑up recommendations.
• Identify spare‑part requirements and recommend upgrades or improvements.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, technical support, and project teams.
• Support larger installation and upgrade projects across the EMEA region when required.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, solution‑oriented engineer who enjoys travelling and solving technical challenges.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with electrical knowledge.
• Proactive, customer‑focused mindset and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent Turkish and good English (written and spoken).
• Valid driving licence and passport.
