Field Service Specialist – Laboratory Automation

About the role

QIAGEN is seeking a Field Service Specialist to support its advanced laboratory automation platforms and molecular diagnostic solutions across Turkey. The role involves extensive travel to provide on‑site technical support, ensuring customers achieve high performance and reliability of their instrumentation.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair QIAGEN automation systems and partner instruments such as Element Biosciences Aviti, Elitech Begenius, Diasorin Luminex, and Seegene Nimbus.
• Provide hardware, software, and application support, collaborating with service, sales, and application teams to resolve complex cases.
• Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with clinical and research customers, acting as a brand ambassador.
• Document activities in CRM systems, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering or related field; molecular biology knowledge is a plus.
• Minimum ~3 years of field service or instrumentation maintenance experience in clinical diagnostics, MDx, or IVD environments.
• Fluent Turkish and professional English communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence, willingness to travel up to 85% within Turkey and occasional international trips; completed military service for male candidates.
