Field Service Technician

About the role

ABB is looking for a Field Service Technician to support industrial customers by delivering high‑quality service on‑site. You will work directly with clients to install, commission, maintain and repair equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute service tasks according to ABB processes and safety guidelines, covering installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, upgrades and end‑of‑life services.
• Provide excellent customer service, build strong relationships, and understand client needs.
• Coordinate and prepare all required materials, parts and equipment for service activities.
• Prepare documentation and reports for customer sign‑off and report work completed in a timely manner.
• Apply safety and environmental rules, reporting unsafe practices and incidents.

Required profile

• Vocational school or associate degree in electrical/electronics.
• At least 2 years of experience as a service technician in manufacturing or the electrical industry.
• Intermediate English and fluent Turkish.
• Flexibility to adapt to frequent schedule changes and up to 70 % travel.
• Valid B‑type driving licence.

Required skills

• Knowledge of frequency converters.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
