Financial Affairs Specialist – Finance Team

About the role

pladis is seeking a Financial Affairs Specialist to join its Finance Team in Istanbul. The role supports financial control, accounting entries, and various finance tasks across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Control and rectify entries from FOMER, including inventory, expense, CAPEX, asset creation, tax declarations, reconciliations, payroll, bank and store collections.
• Handle finance tasks such as vendor payments, tax filings, salary processing, import and CAPEX payment orders, guarantee letters, and loans with Yıldız Holding.
• Supervise the Invoice Tracking System (FTS) and prepare weekly/daily payment lists in coordination with YH treasury.
• Assist in preparing P&L in local currency, MBR, QBR reports, and detailed commentary.
• Generate aging reports for vendors and customers and share with relevant functions.
• Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) preparation and coordinate with all functions.
• Liaise with auditors for document submission and query resolution.
• Perform monthly and quarterly inter-company reconciliations and support other departments with finance‑related tasks.

Required profile

• Relevant financial degree (Bachelor of Commerce or MBA in finance).
• 2‑3 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Knowledge of food & beverage or FMCG business KPIs.
• Adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
