Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support the monthly closing process, contribute to budgeting, forecasting and reporting, and provide detailed cost and variance analysis for the organization. This role works closely with the finance team and various operational departments to ensure accurate financial information and drive improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in and support the monthly closing process for controlling topics.
• Assist in building the annual budget, five‑year plan, weekly forecasts and related reporting.
• Maintain monthly analysis of G&A expenses and present findings to senior management.
• Reconcile inventory accounts, support materials management, and oversee cycle counts.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and internal cost per hour, providing actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate regularly with other departments and the finance team to ensure data integrity.
• Execute ad‑hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university.
• 2–5+ years of relevant experience in finance or controlling.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
• Experience with Power BI (preferred).
