Financial Controller

About the role

ASD Laminat seeks a Financial Controller to lead financial controlling activities for its forest products business in Turkey and globally. The role combines financial reporting, budgeting, cost management, and cash flow oversight to turn data into actionable business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end closing and produce accurate management reports.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, analysing variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Conduct product, customer, order and production‑line costing and profitability analyses.
• Oversee cost accounting, ensuring BOM accuracy, standard‑cost variance tracking, material consumption, scrap, and capacity utilization.
• Supervise inventory counting and valuation for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, and analyse inventory variances.
• Establish and monitor internal control processes, including purchasing approvals, three‑way matching and authorization matrices.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial controlling within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, month‑end closing and management reporting.
• Expertise in cost accounting, product costing, BOM management and profitability analysis.
• Ability to design and enforce internal controls and financial compliance procedures.
• Experience handling cash flow, working capital and risk management.
