Financial Controller

About the role

Döhler Türkiye is seeking a Financial Controller to join its Istanbul office. The role is responsible for controlling activities, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring accurate financial data.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for controlling activities, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring accurate financial data.
• Prepare and manage month‑end reporting, ensuring timely and accurate financial closing and reporting.
• Prepare and update weekly forecasts using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to monitor financial performance and support business planning.
• Prepare and maintain weekly forecasts using Excel, ensuring accurate financial projections and variance analysis.
• Prepare and monitor cash‑flow forecasts to support liquidity management and financial planning.
• Coordinate and support the budget preparation process, including budget monitoring and variance analysis.
• Conduct monthly P&L reviews, analyzing financial results against budget and forecast and identifying key variances.
• Prepare monthly reports, management comments, and finance updates, providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in financial controlling, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or a similar finance role.
• Good knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and advanced MS Excel skills are preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Confident in financial reporting, variance analysis, and data interpretation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, accountability, and adaptability.
• Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
