Finished Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Dauch Corporation is hiring a Finished Maintenance Supervisor for its El Carmen Manufacturing Facility. The role provides mechanical and technical support for manufacturing equipment and monitors and resolves equipment problems on the production line, escalating them according to established guidelines. It also covers new equipment installation, maintenance, parts replacement and coordination with purchasing and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling, performance management and training.
• Develop, implement and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs for finished goods machinery to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues and ensure timely repairs.
• Coordinate with production and quality control to prioritize maintenance activities.
• Manage spare parts inventory, procurement and the maintenance budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies and quality standards such as ISO, GMP and IATF.
• Use computerized maintenance management systems for work orders, historical data and reporting.
• Oversee installation, commissioning and validation of new equipment or modifications.
• Prepare reports on maintenance performance, breakdowns and cost analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Ability to lead a team, foster safety and continuous improvement, and solve complex technical problems under pressure.

Required skills

• Industrial electrical systems (PLC, VFDs, motor controls), hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems and automation.
• Reading technical drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industrial best practices.
