Foreign Trade Finance Specialist

About the role

Sanipak, a group with more than 1,600 employees exporting its OK, Solo, Selpak, UniBaby and other brands to more than 80 countries, is looking for a Foreign Trade Finance Specialist. The role covers the financial side of import and export transactions, from customs checks to foreign currency loans and exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, monitor and control financial processes related to import and export transactions, including financial and accounting checks of customs declarations and foreign trade documentation.
• Manage Eximbank, credit insurance, letters of credit (L/C), foreign exchange and currency transactions.
• Monitor the utilisation, maturity, repayment and closure of foreign currency loans and coordinate related transactions with banks and institutions.
• Review accounting entries, balance sheet accounts, bank and account reconciliations and period-end controls for foreign trade transactions.
• Monitor import costs, payment and collection terms, and the impact of foreign trade on cash flow and financing costs.
• Monitor foreign currency exposure and FX.

Required profile

• University graduate from a relevant department.
• At least 4 years of experience in the finance field.
• Experience in current account / accounts receivable management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Preferred: experience with SAP.
