Freight Forwarding Sales Specialist

About the role

Transitex is seeking a Sales Specialist to develop new business, manage existing customer relationships, and achieve ambitious sales targets for international freight services. The position is based in Maslak, Istanbul and reports to the Sales Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new customer relationships and generate business opportunities.
• Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio.
• Promote international sea, air and multimodal freight solutions.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
• Conduct customer visits and represent Transitex professionally.
• Collaborate with Operations teams to deliver competitive logistics solutions.
• Monitor market developments and identify new opportunities.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in international freight forwarding sales.
• Good knowledge of ocean and air freight operations.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Customer‑oriented mindset and ability to manage the complete sales cycle.
• English language proficiency is an advantage.
• Existing customer portfolio is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with CRM programs.
• Knowledge of ocean and air freight operations.
