Full‑Stack Software Engineer / Developer

About the role

Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is expanding its digital portfolio in Turkey and internationally. The team seeks an experienced Full‑Stack Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain web applications that support financial inclusion, sustainable finance and technology‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain Java‑based backend services and JavaScript front‑end components.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Write efficient SQL queries, optimise relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and ensure data integrity.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, conduct code reviews and enforce clean‑code practices.
• Create automated tests, troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to performance, security and stability improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience with strong Java skills, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Proven experience with frontend frameworks and JavaScript.
• Hands‑on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, issue‑tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and collaborative development workflows.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and ability to work in an international, cross‑cultural team.
