Global Senior Financial Control Executive

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Global Senior Financial Control Executive to lead and continuously improve our financial control framework across all operating regions. The role ensures accurate reporting, compliance with statutory and group standards, and provides strategic oversight of cash and capital allocation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead group‑level financial reporting, guaranteeing timely and compliant month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closings.
• Consolidate results from multiple business units and countries, aligning with group accounting policies.
• Design, implement and refine internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO, SOX) to enhance compliance and risk mitigation globally.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits across all entities.
• Standardize global financial processes and ensure consistent execution across units.
• Monitor and optimize cash flow, working capital and capital allocation across regions.
• Collaborate with country finance teams and business unit leaders to ensure financial accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory regulations and group accounting standards (IFRS or US GAAP).
• Identify and lead process‑improvement initiatives, leveraging automation and best practices.
• Mentor and develop finance professionals worldwide, fostering high performance and accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) strongly preferred.
• 7‑8+ years of financial controlling experience in multinational or matrix organisations.
• Proven track record managing multi‑country consolidations and financial operations.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and global compliance requirements.
• Fluent English with excellent stakeholder management and cross‑cultural communication skills.
