Group Medical Manager – GU, GYN & GI Cancers

About the role

This senior position offers the chance to influence patient outcomes by leading medical strategy for GU, GYN and GI oncology therapies at AstraZeneca in Istanbul. You will act as a scientific bridge between the company, healthcare professionals and regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Establish AstraZeneca as a scientific leader through proactive medical input and engagement with key opinion leaders.
• Generate medical evidence to support brand strategies and unmet medical needs in oncology.
• Shape regulatory environment to achieve rapid market access and support product lifecycle management.
• Provide coaching, training and governance to ensure compliance with patient safety, clinical trials and promotional regulations.

Required profile

• University medical degree with at least 5 years of Medical Affairs experience, including 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Oncology experience is highly preferred; managerial experience is an asset.
• Advanced written and spoken English, valid driving licence and willingness to travel frequently.
