Growth Service Engineer – Istanbul

About the role

As a Growth Service Engineer you will act as a trusted technical partner for our customers, delivering high‑quality service on Smith+Nephew medical devices while supporting business growth across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, install and maintain biomedical equipment independently.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair activities on capital medical devices.
• Document service actions, ensure compliance with regulatory standards and reporting requirements.
• Support service sales initiatives and promote service contracts.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a matrixed environment.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Medical Technology or related field.
• 1–3 years of field service experience with medical devices or healthcare technology.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and EU MDR regulatory requirements.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel up to 50 % domestically and occasionally regionally.
• Customer‑focused mindset with strong commercial awareness.
