Import & Export Operations Assistant

About the role

We are seeking an Import & Export Operations Assistant to support daily foreign trade activities for our client. The role involves coordinating shipments, handling documentation, and ensuring smooth communication with logistics partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily follow‑up of import, export and shipment operations.
• Prepare, check and organize foreign trade and shipping documents.
• Monitor import shipment schedules, transportation status, customs processes and delivery progress.
• Communicate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers and logistics partners.
• Enter and update information in ERP systems and internal tracking files.
• Report operational issues or missing information to the manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in foreign trade, logistics or import/export operations.
• Basic knowledge of import/export processes and documentation.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Organized, proactive and able to work with multiple departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (advantage).
