Import Export Specialist

About the role

ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation, is seeking an Import Export Specialist to ensure compliance and efficiency in international trade operations. This hybrid role based in Ankara involves managing the logistics of import and export activities while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee import and export processes, including documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with international trade regulations.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of shipments.
• Conduct audits and reviews of import/export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Resolve logistics issues or discrepancies related to shipments, customs, and trade compliance.
• Stay informed about changes in trade regulations and provide guidance on best practices for international shipping.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, international business, logistics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in import/export coordination or logistics with strong understanding of customs regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a proactive approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
