Indirect Procurement Manager

About the role

The Indirect Procurement Manager is responsible for executing tactical buying across low, mid and high‑value items, ensuring compliance with internal processes and service level agreements. The role supports automation initiatives, expands catalogue coverage and drives cost‑effective sourcing for a variety of categories.

Key responsibilities

• Execute tactical buying processes, including analysis of mid‑value buys and facilitation of high‑value purchases with category managers.
• Conduct sourcing projects: negotiate, select suppliers, and manage e‑sourcing events in Ariba.
• Follow up on technical evaluations, determine purchase order terms, and oversee order signature and distribution.
• Support tail‑spend reduction and channel spend through strategic suppliers.
• Analyze tactical buying activity, provide feedback to Category Managers, and identify standardisation opportunities.
• Run RfQs for potential catalogue items and support automated buying channel introductions.
• Collaborate on strategic sourcing initiatives and maintain vendor creation compliance.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of sourcing execution, contract management and procure‑to‑pay processes.
• Experience in categories such as IT, professional services, marketing, facility management, transport or logistics.
• Strong analytical ability to assess specifications, influence demand and drive decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work independently with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluency in English; additional language optional.
• Willingness to work extended business hours.
