Indirect Purchasing Executive

About the role

Lactalis Türkiye, a leading dairy producer, is seeking an Indirect Purchasing Executive to manage logistics services procurement across its manufacturing sites. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and overseeing contracts for warehousing, transportation, and value‑added logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure logistics operations, warehousing, and related services meeting quality, cost, and service standards.
• Lead tender processes, develop alternative suppliers, and drive sourcing activities locally and globally.
• Create and implement category strategies, policies, and processes to improve operational and financial performance.
• Support cost‑reduction, efficiency, and logistics flow optimisation initiatives.
• Visit suppliers and operational sites to monitor service quality and ensure continuity of supply.
• Manage new supplier onboarding, service entry, and invoice alignment with commercial terms.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure service continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in strategic sourcing and logistics services.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of SAP (preferred).
