Information Technology and Administrative Intern (Turkish Speaking)

About the role

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (ICPSD) is seeking a proactive Information Technology and Administrative Intern. This full‑time, office‑based position supports the centre’s IT infrastructure and administrative operations while gaining hands‑on experience in a multicultural development environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of SharePoint sites, including file organization, permission management, and knowledge‑flow optimisation.
• Support the creation of basic PowerApps or digital forms to automate routine office tasks and improve data collection.
• Perform routine technical tasks such as backup procedures, inventory updates, and compliance checks across digital platforms.
• Curate and archive digital assets, maintain website content updates, and manage ICPSD’s social‑media channels.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree programme in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Development Studies, International Relations or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest or prior experience in ICT support, digital platform administration, or information management through academic, volunteer or professional activities.
• Eligibility to join the UNDP internship programme (post‑graduate, final year of bachelor’s, recent graduate, or postgraduate traineeship).

Required skills

• Familiarity with SharePoint site administration.
• Basic knowledge of PowerApps or similar low‑code development tools.
• Experience with website content updates and social‑media management.
• Understanding of digital asset curation and knowledge‑management systems.
