Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer

About the role

Vagon streams high-performance cloud computers and applications to any device through the browser, for human or AI agents. It is a small team where every engineer owns problems end to end. This full-time, hybrid position in Istanbul covers the infrastructure the platform runs on.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Vagon Mega Cloud on hyperscalers such as AWS, covering provisioning, autoscaling and cost.
• Own the Windows and Linux image pipelines that boot the streaming machines.
• Own the infrastructure behind Vagon Core API and Vagon Frontend.
• Own the CI/CD that builds and ships everything, from web services to native agents.
• Keep the infrastructure fast, secure and observable, and automate away the toil.

Required profile

• 4+ years running production infrastructure on AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, autoscaling).
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar) and Kubernetes with Helm, including secrets management.
• Comfortable on both Linux and Windows hosts: image building, patching, scripting in Bash and PowerShell.
• CI/CD ownership (GitHub Actions or similar), including pipelines that build native code.
• Observability mindset: metrics, logs, traces; has been on call and fixed what paged them.
• Natural sense of security and cost.

Bonus: GPU instances and NVIDIA drivers, Packer or EC2 Image Builder, OpenTelemetry, Go or Python tooling, remote desktop or streaming workloads, and homelab experience. Apply with a short note, CV or GitHub and describe one outage or security incident you handled from alert to postmortem.
