Internal Audit Senior Manager

About the role

Marsh Türkiye is looking for an Internal Audit Senior Manager to join its Istanbul office. You will work independently while collaborating with the first and second lines of defence to provide objective assurance on governance, risk management and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk‑based audits, testing control design and operating effectiveness.
• Deliver the annual risk‑ and regulatory‑based audit plan.
• Conduct local regulator‑required audits, defining scope, risks and techniques, including data analytics.
• Communicate findings, root causes and track timely remediation.
• Document audit work, apply professional judgement and report results in line with company standards.
• Influence business actions and deliver final audit reports.
• Support risk assessment and the development of the annual audit plan.
• Lead internal audits and special projects, handling interviews, testing and report preparation.
• Build strong relationships with business teams and support management presentations.
• Contribute to resource planning, budget oversight and staff development, including recruiting, training and mentoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law, accounting, finance or a related field.
• 7+ years of audit experience, preferably in the insurance sector.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Advanced communication, presentation and training abilities.
• Energetic, self‑motivated and result‑oriented.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of audit methods, internal control concepts and the ability to assess business and technology risks.
