International Buyer (Izmir)

About the role

Ozeol is a worldwide supplier of B2B products, specializing in stock clearance and purchasing surplus products such as textiles, toys, shoes and accessories. It is looking for an International Buyer in Izmir to manage product families and its supplier portfolio, searching for and selecting products and suppliers in line with the company's purchasing strategy and negotiating contracts to meet cost, lead time and quality objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and purchase overstocks, liquidations and unsold goods at the best prices on the international market
• Negotiate purchasing conditions and prices to secure favorable terms
• Follow up on orders and make sure all necessary documentation is in place
• Manage claims and disputes with customers and vendors efficiently
• Maintain frequent communication with managers and support staff
• Meet the qualitative and quantitative objectives set by management

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Commercial or Procurement management, or a related field
• Proven track record in purchasing and negotiation or trading is highly encouraged, especially in international buying, international purchasing or supplier negotiation for similar products
• Excellent command of English; French is a strong asset
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, commercial mindset and strategic approach to purchasing
• Ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams, solve problems and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with an emphasis on Excel
• Use of the company's internal software and office resources
