IT Infrastructure Engineer (Server & Network)

About the role

CATL is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to own and manage the network and foundational infrastructure for its new plant in Bursa, Turkey. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining data centre, server, campus network, internet and WAN services that support plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end planning, design and deployment of the plant’s IT infrastructure, including data centre, server rooms and ELV systems.
• Monitor network bandwidth, traffic patterns and hardware utilization, responding to alerts and resolving anomalies quickly.
• Support servers, storage and backup systems daily, handling virtualization, capacity planning and backup policy execution.
• Manage local IT vendors to ensure timely construction, delivery and operation of infrastructure.
• Align local implementation with China HQ standards, policies and processes while adapting them to local conditions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Network Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional IT infrastructure experience, with proven network operations in medium‑to‑large enterprises.
• Professional proficiency in Turkish and English; Chinese language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with Aruba or Huawei wireless solutions.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking equipment from Cisco, Huawei and Fortinet.
• Hands‑on use of open‑source monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Server virtualization expertise (VMware, KVM) and administration of Windows Server and RHEL 8/9 environments.
