IT Specialist

About the role

Maersk is seeking an IT Specialist to provide first‑line support for its Istanbul office and multiple locations across Turkey. You will be a key technical resource, ensuring smooth operation of office IT infrastructure and responding to incidents and requests promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site and remote 1st line support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and AV equipment.
• Configure, troubleshoot and maintain PCs, BIOS settings, Windows 11, Microsoft Azure and network connectivity (LAN, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth).
• Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications, printers, external drives and other peripherals.
• Handle incident tickets, service requests and occasional out‑of‑hours support to maintain business continuity.
• Collaborate with international IT teams in Egypt, Romania, Lebanon, Israel, Georgia and Italy.

Required profile

• Strong sense of urgency and customer‑service mindset.
• Professional communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent prioritisation, problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Experience taking end‑to‑end responsibility for issue resolution.

Required skills

• Advanced desktop usage and Microsoft Azure.
• Windows 11, mobile device support.
• PC setup, BIOS configuration, LAN/Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Project, Visio).
• Basic network troubleshooting.
• Use of AV equipment in meeting rooms.
