Lead DevOps Engineer

About the role

ICterra, a global software engineering company with offices in Munich, Istanbul and Ankara, is looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver complex software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery environments.
• Build automated tasks for the environment.
• Design and build processes for developing and deploying scalable, robust applications on cloud and on-premises environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with developers.
• Ensure the performance, security and responsiveness of the environment.
• Improve system performance with new ideas and improve infrastructure reliability through automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline such as computer, electronics or telecommunication engineering, MIS, etc.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or Platform Engineer.

Required skills

• Strong experience with Kubernetes in on-premise and cloud environments.
• CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD, Azure DevOps, Git and Azure.
• Java and Node.js.
• Logging, monitoring and automation tools such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Web technologies (HTTP, TLS, REST), distributed messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
• Linux and Windows operating systems.
