About the role
We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join bitaksibitaksi’s in‑house legal team. The role will support all business units, handling contracts, regulatory matters and data‑privacy compliance for our taxi‑hailing platform.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, software/IP licences, financing and advertising contracts.
- Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, e‑commerce, consumer protection and data‑privacy issues.
- Support corporate governance, risk management and regulatory compliance across the company.
- Conduct legal research, prepare reports and legal opinions for product and business teams.
- Manage data‑privacy compliance (KVKK/GDPR) and oversee mediation and litigation matters.
Required profile
- LL.B. (Bachelor’s in Law) required; LL.M. in IT & Technology Law preferred.
- Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in an in‑house legal department.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- IAPP certification is a strong asset.
