Legal Counsel (Junior)

About the role

Karadeniz Holding is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join its Legal department at the Istanbul Kağıthane headquarters. The role supports the Group’s diverse energy, shipping and infrastructure activities by providing practical legal advice and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts for various business units under senior counsel supervision.
• Support corporate governance and monitor ongoing compliance for Group companies in different countries.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal assistance to senior counsels, technical teams and commercial units throughout the contractual process.
• Prepare legal reports, opinions, correspondence and other documentation as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized university with bar admission (LL.M. is a plus).
• 1–3 years of experience in corporate, commercial or financing law, preferably in energy, shipping or infrastructure sectors.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under tight deadlines and collaborate across teams and time zones.
• Proactive attitude, good communication skills and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
