About the role

DL Attorneys at Law is seeking an experienced Legal Director to lead its corporate legal practice, providing strategic counsel to national and multinational clients across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive corporate advisory services, including governance, shareholder matters and regulatory compliance.
• Provide strategic legal advice to executive teams, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Lead domestic and cross‑border M&A transactions, overseeing due diligence, structuring, documentation and closing.
• Advise on data protection and privacy regulations such as GDPR and Turkish KVKK, and manage related compliance projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering practical, business‑oriented legal solutions.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and contribute to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable university.
• 10+ years of experience in corporate, commercial, labor and data‑protection law.
• Proven track record advising senior executives and handling complex, cross‑border transactions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of corporate, commercial, labor and personal data protection law.
• Extensive experience in legal due diligence, litigation, contract drafting and negotiation.
• Ability to manage M&A transactions and advise on GDPR and KVKK compliance.
