Level Designer – Puzzle Games

About the role

Join Voodoo’s newly created internal studio in Istanbul as a Level Designer focused on a high‑potential puzzle title. You will work side‑by‑side with engineers, artists, and product experts to shape engaging levels that keep players coming back.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and iterate on challenging puzzle levels that drive player progression.
• Develop and refine game mechanics that enhance the core gameplay loop.
• Analyze player data, metrics, and feedback to spot improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineers and artists to bring level concepts to life.
• Plan, run, and monitor A/B tests to validate design decisions.
• Balance difficulty curves to maintain optimal challenge and retention across all stages.
• Stay informed on hybrid‑casual and puzzle market trends and competitor titles.
• Contribute to the product roadmap and strategic direction.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience in game design, level design, or a related role within mobile gaming.
• Strong passion for mobile puzzle and hybrid‑casual games.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data‑driven decisions.
• Understanding of player psychology, engagement, and retention.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Iterative work style, able to test, learn, and improve quickly.
