Logistics Manager

About the role

Barilla Turkey is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead logistics services and warehouse operations across the country, reporting to the Supply Chain Director Turkey.

Key responsibilities

• Define and control the annual logistics budget for Turkey, covering transport, storage, and distribution.
• Lead procurement of logistics services, manage tenders, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor performance.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and propose procedural improvements.
• Monitor and optimize logistics and warehouse processes, both in‑house and outsourced, to meet KPIs.
• Lead logistics projects aimed at performance, cost‑efficiency, and sustainability improvements.
• Manage warehouse operations, proposing projects to enhance safety, service, and efficiency.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Develop a high‑performing logistics team through communication, feedback, and professional growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management or related roles.
• Proven ability to manage complex logistics and warehouse operations.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Solid understanding of logistics contracts, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
• Fluent in English; Turkish proficiency is a strong asset.
