About the role
Just Moya Trading & Contracting is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Officer to join its team in Istanbul, Turkey. The role covers on-site inspection of shipments and coordination with suppliers and freight forwarders.
Key responsibilities
- Visit factories and suppliers to inspect, verify and monitor shipments before dispatch
- Check shipment quantities, packing conditions, product details and readiness for delivery
- Coordinate with factories, suppliers, freight forwarders and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment arrangements
- Prepare, review and maintain logistics documentation such as packing lists, commercial invoices, delivery notes and shipping documents
- Follow up on shipment schedules, loading, transportation and delivery status
- Ensure documents are accurate, complete and submitted on time, and report discrepancies, delays or other issues promptly
Required profile
- Previous experience in logistics, shipping, freight coordination or supply chain operations
- Willingness to travel to factories and supplier locations for shipment inspections
- Strong coordination, communication and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments at once
- A valid Turkish driving licence is an advantage
