Maintenance Planning Engineer

About the role

The Maintenance Planning Engineer will design and optimise preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for a leading ice‑cream manufacturer. The role bridges engineering excellence with operational needs to ensure equipment reliability, high uptime and compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance plans.
• Develop daily, weekly and shutdown schedules in alignment with production, engineering and third‑party service providers.
• Analyse equipment breakdowns, conduct root‑cause analyses and track KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF and OEE.
• Maintain spare‑part inventory planning and keep SAP/CMMS data up to date.
• Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives, especially the PM pillar.
• Lead or contribute to cost‑saving and digitalisation projects related to maintenance.
• Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety, quality and environmental requirements.

Required profile

• Strong background in preventive and predictive maintenance within an industrial environment.
• Proven ability to plan, prioritise and allocate resources for maintenance workloads.
• Analytical mindset with experience interpreting downtime trends and performance metrics.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teams.
