About the role
Eaton is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to align weekly production plans with facility capacity, convert them into daily operational schedules, and ensure on‑time delivery while minimizing cycle time and inventory.
Key responsibilities
- Direct daily workflow (WIP) by analyzing reports and input from cross‑functional teams.
- Level‑load daily production plans, balancing resource capacity and constraints.
- Collaborate with SCM planners to obtain parts/material information and set delivery dates.
- Communicate with Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Purchasing to synchronize schedules.
- Support continuous‑improvement initiatives, develop scheduling procedures, and manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or supply‑chain environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across multiple functional groups.
- Ability to analyze data quickly, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions.
Required skills
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
- Lean manufacturing principles.
- Complex machined materials management.
- Proficiency in English (minimum B1 level).
