Master Field Technician

About the role

The Master Field Technician (MFT) is the top‑tier specialist responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing chronic ATM equipment to ensure long‑lasting performance. Reporting to the MFT Team Leader, you will work across designated zones, collaborating with local teams to resolve outlier issues and mentor peers.

Key responsibilities

• Repair an average of two chronic ATMs per day, delivering high‑quality fixes.
• Perform full preventative maintenance on all ATM modules.
• Utilise NCR Atleos knowledge systems and repositories to support durable repairs.
• Manage parts inventory (PPK) to guarantee correct components are on hand.
• Analyse device logs to identify root causes and provide input to knowledge bases.
• Travel outside the regular service area as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
• Meet established KPIs and customer SLAs while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience repairing NCR ATMs.
• Completion of NCR Basic and Advanced ATM training.
• Recommendation from a direct manager and proven performance data.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and overtime.

Required skills

• Proficiency with NCR ATM diagnostic tools and troubleshooting procedures.
• Strong repair process knowledge for ATM hardware.
• Electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Advanced understanding of networking technology.
• Familiarity with NCR Atleos products and processes.
