Material Planner

About the role

Alstom is looking for a full‑time Material Planner to join its Bursa team. You will apply your supply‑chain expertise to ensure materials are delivered on time, supporting the success of rail projects.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate material deliveries across Procurement, Production and Project Management teams.
• Express delivery needs using dedicated planning tools and monitor supplier performance.
• Analyse supplier confirmations against Alstom requirements and assess risks.
• Identify and implement recovery actions for supply‑chain disruptions.
• Manage MRP exception messages and anticipate potential supply problems.
• Conduct regular reviews with suppliers to track delivery status and performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align material planning with project objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in Material Planning or Production Planning.
• Degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
• Proficiency in English and native Turkish.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Inventory management techniques.
• Supplier performance monitoring.
