Mechanic Technician – Hotel Engineering

About the role

Join Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus as a Mechanic Technician and ensure the hotel’s mechanical systems operate safely and efficiently. You will support daily engineering operations, maintain equipment, and contribute to a memorable guest experience through reliable facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily engineering operations according to shift schedule.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on boiler, HVAC, water and gas installations, swimming pool, cold room, and F&B, laundry, housekeeping equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures, identify spare parts, and report findings to the Mechanical Supervisor.
• Maintain tools and workshop safety, and participate in new installations and improvement projects.
• Operate and monitor swimming pool systems in line with Pool Water Operator certification.
• Ensure compliance with Hilton Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and monitor external contractors.

Required profile

• Graduate of a Technical High School or Vocational College in Mechanical Engineering, Machinery, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably in hospitality or large‑scale facilities.
• Valid Pool Water Operator Certificate (mandatory).
• Ability to work shift‑based schedule and adapt to team‑oriented environment.
