Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Amcor is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join its Operations/Production team in Izmir. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of production machinery and utility equipment across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute mechanical maintenance activities for production and utility equipment.
• Implement and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Respond to unplanned breakdowns, perform failure analyses and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Analyse recurring mechanical failures and develop permanent corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare, monitor and maintain maintenance plans, work orders and maintenance records.
• Develop maintenance strategies for critical assets and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum three years of maintenance engineering experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent technical English communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
