Mechanical Technician

About the role

Ravago Türkiye is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join its Kayseri operations. The role involves ensuring the mechanical reliability of equipment and auxiliary systems across our industrial facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and guarantee the mechanical reliability of equipment and auxiliary plants.
• Lead and manage the maintenance team on site.
• Organise welding and metal‑fabrication tasks.
• Ensure safe, quality‑driven and timely completion of fault‑repair and project work.

Required profile

• Graduated from a vocational high school or college in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in heavy industry, cement, steel, mining, mineral wool, glass wool or process industry.
• Knowledge of hot work and EKED (LOTO) safety procedures.
• Strong problem‑solving, planning and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work in shifts without restriction.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of gas and electrode welding techniques.
• Metal fabrication and construction skills.
• Ability to read and apply technical drawings on site.
• Experience with bearings, gearboxes, couplings, conveyors, pumps and fan systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic system faults.
• Repair of welded equipment and mechanical assembly.
• Familiarity with industrial safety regulations.
