Mechanician

About the role

The Mechanician will join the maintenance team at Mandarin Oriental Bodrum, ensuring that all mechanical systems operate safely and efficiently in a luxury 5‑star resort environment. This role supports the Chief Engineer and contributes to the high standards of guest comfort and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and present the uniform in accordance with grooming standards, setting a professional example for the team.
• Report to the Chief Engineer at the start of each shift and document any required keys or access codes.
• Review the hotel daily operation report to stay informed of ongoing maintenance priorities.
• Perform routine inspections and checks of the boiler house.
• Verify that all lifts and dumb waiters are in proper working order.
• Inspect and test air‑conditioning controllers located in the tank room.

Required profile

• Professional appearance with attention to uniform and grooming standards.
• Reliability in reporting shift status and communicating with the Chief Engineer.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing operational reports and conducting equipment checks.
